NCBFC 1st Tuesday Music Night

This regular first Tuesday no-charge music event takes place at Round Table Pizza, at the corner of Washington & Ash in Escondido. Everyone is welcome! Dinner is from 5:30 – 6:30 PM and jamming is from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. With local bands or pick-up groups from the parking lot jam sessions take the stage around 8 PM. Please remember – the NCBFC wants everyone to enjoy a social evening together, but please be polite to the entertainers & others.

SDBS 2nd Monday of the Month

The San Diego Bluegrass Society hosts an evening of bluegrass jamming and open mic at the Duck Foot Brewing Company 8920 Kenamar Dr #210 · San Diego, CA on 2nd Monday of the month, from 6:30 to 9 pm. Acoustic musicians and listeners alike are invited to join the event. There’s jamming (lots of outdoor space and parking), so come out and practice your best licks with others – it’s always fun. Or put together a group in the parking lot and sign up for a 30-minute time slot to perform at the open mic inside*. If you have a band and haven’t played at one of our events lately, this is a great chance to help celebrate our new monthly event, support SDBS, and have your band heard. January 9th – 12th, The Great 48 Hour Jam – Marriott Convention Center, Bakersfield, CA. bluegrasser’s from all over the country, including beginners to advanced, make the annual trek to Bakersfield, California to experience hours of jamming, workshops, showcase bands, and a band scramble, not to mention bluegrass camaraderie with new and old friends.

Golden Shores/Topock Bluegrass Campout

Held every year in the last week of February (the week prior to Bluegrass on the Beach). Located on Historic Rt 66 in Topock Arizona the campout is hosted by the Golden Shores Community Center. Plenty of room for parking/camping and picking.
Suggested donations are $5 per night, with limited electrical for $10 per night.
